Somebody out there will know how many annual camping & water based activity weekends COAC In2venture have ran at Ellerton. I reckon it must be something like fifteen. This year’s was well attended with about a dozen or so camping on Friday night; a good 40-50 in for the day on Saturday with a few extra campers overnight.
After moving the event to the first weekend in May to avoid the usual July monsoons, the weather was “interesting” with a good force 4+ wind blowing for most of the time. It certainly made for a draughty campsite & the need for shelter on the water. Kayaking; open canoeing; geo-cache & more. A good weekend!
